Introduction
Welcome to the RxConsole User Guide. The RxConsole is the web-based administrative application for the RxCheck Hub, used by State PDMP Administrators and Vendor to manage interstate data sharing, configure their site, review audit logs, manage users and roles, and monitor system health.
This guide walks you through every screen and feature in the RxConsole — from signing in for the first time to advanced configuration tasks such as setting up the SRS, managing maintenance schedules, and configuring provider validation rules.
New to the RxConsole? If this is your first visit, we recommend starting with Purpose of the User Guide and Who is the User Guide Intended For? to understand the scope of the guide, and then moving on to Getting Started to sign in to the application.
How to Use This Guide
The guide is organized as a series of short, task-focused pages. The chapters on the left mirror the structure of the RxConsole itself, so you can navigate to a topic the same way you would navigate the application. The following tips will help you get the most out of it.
Navigating the Guide
- Sidebar table of contents — The left-hand sidebar lists every chapter and page in the guide, numbered to match the order of the application’s menus. Click a chapter heading to expand or collapse its pages, and click a page title to jump directly to it.
- Breadcrumbs — The trail at the top of every page (for example, Home › Introduction) shows where you are in the guide. Click any breadcrumb link to jump back up to that level.
- Previous and Next buttons — At the bottom of each page, the Previous and Next buttons let you read the guide straight through in order, like a book.
- Show or hide the sidebar — Click the menu icon at the very top-left of the page to collapse the sidebar and give yourself more reading room, or to bring it back.
Searching the Guide
The search box at the top of the sidebar lets you search the entire guide, not just page titles. Start typing and a list of matching pages will appear, with a short preview that highlights your search term in context. Click any result to jump straight to that page.
Tip: Press the / key from anywhere in the guide to jump straight to the search box. Press Esc to close the results.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Most pages in this guide are written as numbered step-by-step procedures, with a screenshot next to each step showing exactly what you should see in the RxConsole. Names of buttons, menus, and fields inside the application appear in italics so they are easy to pick out from the surrounding instructions.
You can click any screenshot to enlarge it in a lightbox view — useful when you need a closer look at a specific button or field. Click the screenshot again, click the × in the upper-right corner, or press Esc to return to the page.
Light and Dark Mode
The guide supports both light and dark color themes. Use the Light / Dark toggle in the upper-right corner of the page to switch between them. Your preference is remembered the next time you open the guide.
Getting Help
If you cannot find an answer in this guide, or if you run into a problem with the RxConsole that the guide does not cover, click the Contact Us button in the upper-right corner of any page to reach the PDMP support team.
